Description
Please join us if you are a new or continuing student who has yet to complete all steps for priority registration.
New Students please register for the August 10th date and Continuing Students are eligible for August 5th.
Get started with your transition to college and staying on track with your educational goals. Attend our Enrollment Days workshops!
Kick off your college adventure with our College Kickstart day!
Join us for a day of fun with lunch provided. But before you do, complete as many of these steps as you can online.
- Complete your college application
- Attending Orientation or completing the online version in My Portal
- Going through Testing and Asssessment
- Meeting with a counselor to complete an Education Plan
- Registering for Courses
Need Help? Don't worry, our event staff will guide you through everything you need to start your college journey.
By attending each workshop, you can ask questions, learn from pros, and connect with other students starting their college journey!

- Is Kickstart offered virtually?

- Is attendance required or optional?
Attendance is not required, you can still register for classes when it is your time to register.
- Can students complete all enrollment steps remotely?

- What if I can't attend Kickstart?
No worries, you can complete each step for priority registration on your own before the event and after. Visit this page to learn more, https://foothill.edu/apply-and-register/priority.html.
- Is Online Orientation equivalent to attending Kickstart?
Yes, you'll receive the same credit as attending an in-person orientation. If you attend in-person, please ensure to check-in when you arrive to the event to receive credit.
- Which enrollment steps, if any, must be completed in person?
